Things splash when they hit the water!

HA! I knew eventually Tom would drop something in the water. Now maybe he will leave me alone about letting the dog fall in the water.

Of course he only dropped a lighter in the water, but still was a "winning" moment for me. Well, it was - till he "borrowed" my lighter and that was the last I seen of it.

Ok granted, it wasn't as expensive as my $50 wireless network USB that I had fall in the water last week... but I will take this small victory!

He's waiting and betting that I will drop the Truck keys in the water. I am thinking he is probably correct. Either the keys or me will be hitting the water soon. It's coming.

Monday I go for my job. I find out what they have for an offer for me. It's been since February since I had my first interview. Gotta love places that make quick decisions. So I will probably start working Tuesday, since the company is non-smoking, I may not need my lighter anymore. I will probably quit smoking again.

But I am sad that my vacation will soon be over. Soon the dog can have Tom all to herself. Since she ignores me most of the time anyhow, she won't care that I'm not here during the day. She is with Tom all day. She is kind of cute in the mornings. She won't let me take her out in the mornings. Oh no, her daddy has to be the one that takes her out. She will go wake him up even if I am dressed - it doesn't matter. He has to get up and take her out. She has him trained so well, he doesn't even try to fight it.

The nice thing about this job, it's 3 miles one way from here. So I won't have to use allot of gas. Since today gas went to the record high of $3.52 cent a gallon it will help having a job close to home. and.... ummmm hell no im not walking.... I know what you guys are thinking.

Tom has been busy sanding and varnishing the wood on the boat. He's moving at record pace! He finished about 12 feet of wood railings in 3 days. WOOO HOOO!!! Mr Rabbit look out for Speedy Tom.... He says he's "pacing himself"~~~ I can tell you what he is pacing himself against. ME! If he gets the stuff done too quick, I will start bitching that he needs to go get a job...... The wood railings that he has done do look good though.
