Tom goes back to Work

I can sum this up in one word - YAY!

He starts Monday at a Dealer in the bodyshop. He isn't as thrilled about going back to work as I am. But he got his tool box already moved into his spot there just waiting on him to come. It's only about 6 miles from here and we can lovingly carpool together since he can drop me off on the way. I think yesterday he installed new seatbelts in the truck.

Friday he went on a tour of the Doggy Day Care and got her little care package from them so we can fill it out. He left the dog in the truck while he toured the place. Now why he didn't take the dog in, I will never know, but left her in the truck with the AC running while he went in. He said it was nice and that Boodles will have fun there. He has already informed his new employer that he would be late everyday, cause the doggy daycare place doesnt open till 8 but its only 1/2 mile away from his job. They said it would be fine. Go figure.

Today we have to wait for the cable company to come and install cable and Internet. We weren't gonna get cable, but with the special they were running it was cheaper to get the digital cable installed also. It's 53.00 a month for cable and Internet which the special lasts for a year. I did manage to talk them into free installation. Since the tech won't have to drill anything to install it. Just give me the equipment and the coax cable and I will take it from there.

So we plan on leaving for our trip in April, but till then I have Internet that I can depend on. I can't get anything done with the way that this Internet connection is working. I have about 7 websites ready to upload and can't get a connection good enough most of the time to get them uploaded. I was able to get 5 sites uploaded already but it was a pain in the ass, so I don't want to struggle with the rest of them. The websites are made to bring us in money while we're traveling so they have to get uploaded soon. The ones that are uploaded already are doing pretty good, hopefully they will continue to make us money.

Yesterday, I had a true Judy moment. I was bringing in groceries and missed a step coming in. Of course it was the 1st step, that sent me tumbling into the boat. I was spreadeagled across the back room. Lucky for me the wood railing caught my fall, which wasn't the softest place to stop at, but it worked. Tom came and got the groceries from me, then left me there......... I didn't feel the love at that moment. Ahhh the joys of being Princess Graceful.
