How to use the Sink.........

We scrubbed.... (well, WE didn't, but hey, it's MY blog, so I will take the credit for helping if I want to)... anyhow, he scrubbed the canvas on top of the boat. Seems that when it rains real hard, (like Hurricane forced-rain), you know the types of rain that you get maybe once every 2-3 years...... well the boat leaks when it happens. Actually he got dripped on during the rain, so he put this repair top of his list.....

So he decided to scrub the canvas then spray it down with scotch guard. Which, it really hasn't rained since then, so we don't know if it will work. But at least the canvas is cleaned.

For those of you who missed this view of him, I thought I would add it for you. Ahhh the wonderful memories of these views of him...

The boat looked so weird without it on. It was only off a few hours, then he put it back on. But now that's done for a year. Next year it will need done again.

Why didn't I help? He didn't want me to.. Oh wait, I did help. I held the hose and sprayed it off.

Yesterday at the library, in the bathroom they had this sign on how to wash your hands.

I especially liked the part of "please do not try to turn faucet." And actually it took 7 seconds. I tried it twice. Maybe this message would of been more effective if they painted a pictures of hands in the sink, so you knew where to hold your hands to get water on them.

This is the sink, now how could you even try to turn faucet?

Personally, If you have to put up a sign on how to use the sink, maybe you should buy a sink with handles that you can turn. The toilets don't have a not above it saying, "please don't try to flush, just stand up and move your fat ass out of the way so they can flush themselves!" So why the sink?

The library is fairly new, they have some cool rooms, one room is the Wires Room. That's what the door plaque says. Yes the Wires Room has a door plaque. Go figure. It is a nice library though, and has computer access at lunch time. So I usually walk down there and get online. I even got a library card in my own name... Wooo Hoo...

Today I walked around town a little, found a nice older El Camino, about a 1968 or 1969. it was a little rough - well it has potential, once you take off the duct-taped imitation vinyl top. Yes their vinyl top was made out of white- duct tape. so I scratched that one off the list. Although for a imitation top they did a fine job with it. Then as I was standing there, I was calculating what needed replaced, repaired, and just a miracle. I guess if it was priced right, it would be a good car to restore.

Tonight there was a beautiful sunset. This is why I deal with stupid signs and yucky bugs - views like these at nights. I ran outside in my jammies to the deck to take these photos, and damn if someone didn't catch me out there.

This was so much prettier in person. Tom didn't get to see it, I fed him early and he went to bed at 6:45pm. So I know he will be up at 3am and then can't go back to sleep.
