Wow Talk about Being Slack!

Ok Sorry for the long break in between these posts. We're still alive. Neither one has been upgraded (or downgraded) to shark bait yet. Even Princess Poochie is still around...

Tom is still working (that's a real Shocker isn't it??) We still own POS.... His El Camino.. (BTW POS stands for Piece of Shit.) We are having major problems selling this car with the economy. But he's off next week to Carlisle to try to sell it there. I will be glad when it's gone. He will too. He doesn't even drive it much. I'm not worried about him selling it, I'm worried about what he will buy once he sells it.

About 2 weeks ago we went to Charlotte for the car show. We didn't sell the car there either. We stayed at Shell's. I went to the Dr's while I was there.

They said I have I have Acid Reflux really bad. They found out by shoving a tube down my throat to take pictures. That was a wonderful experience.

Now reading up on this disease one of the many clues that people seemed to miss on me is...

1. Burping - belching .... Jeeze people I gave EVERYONE this clue.. Yet no one picked up on it. You just ranked my burps....
   
2. Eating Tums or in my case DRINKING GALLONS OF MAALOX ---- oh dear sisters... You missed a huge clue there didn't you???
3. Hoarseness --- HA!!! Bet you all thoiught that my singing just sucked didn't you.. I have a medical condition that Proves that I can SING.... but just not able at this moment!!
   

My Vocal cords are swollen and I am suspose to NOT talk till my next appointment in May. Yea right... Luckly for us, we've been married so long that not talking to each other is common! We can go days without chatting and not miss it a bit. In fact If I didn't know better I swear he asked the doctor to tell me this. I think that I actually caught him on his knees giving thanks to the Lord for this blessing as he calls it.

But work is a different story. I didn't tell them I am suspose to stay quiet... I didn't think it was any of their business. So they have me on the switchboard. Ugh..... I can't win.
But with the vocal cords swelled it hurts to talk after awhile, and I sound hoarse. So I not only Look like a horse, I am actually Hoarse.... :).


So the things that I eat are on this list that I found Online... I Love everything on this list. Here is what I found.

Now how sucky is this??? Even though Pizza wasn't on the list... I think it's still on the No-No list... And they have spaghetti on the no-no list.... Now you know I love my sketty.. I can even eat cold sketty sandwiches..........

I can still eat cheese, goat cheese.... now doesn't that just sound yummy??

So I got to figure out something to eat... Cause I have to eat every 3-4 hours. ummm... yeah right.. Oh Stress is another thing that causes this. So my job is top on this list..... See I keep trying to tell Tom that my job makes me sick... he won't buy into that...

Well it really could be worse.. At least this is treatable.. It won't be fun treating it, but I will get through this.... I don't know what I can eat.. cause I can't eat many carbs. ahhh Funtimes!

The dog and Tom just left. He was trying to take a nap. She wants her ice cream and to go to the back room with the men. She loves men. Im stuck with her next week. He's leaving tuesday won't be back till Sunday.. I got to take her to day care, and make it to work on time. This should be fun. We usually walk after work, but since I have to rush to get her, I won't be able to walk.



Updates on kids:

Shell is still unemployed. She's trying to get disability since she has never recovered from her Rocky Mountain Spotted Fever that she had a few years ago. She is still having problems with her joints. She was just diagonised with Fibromaliagra. She finally got rid of her roomate, and now lives alone with her poochies. She should have a room mate moving in soon.

The Wueen is getting bigger while cooking the little prince. She has happily been shopping for nursery items. She looks so cute with her big belly.. She thinks that Tom's belly still is bigger and she may be right. We will be going there soon so we will take photos.

So as you can tell nothing has really changed. Everything is still basically the same. Just different shit on different days.
