Boats and More Boats

Yesterday we delivered the marine engine that He Sold, it was bought just incase he needed it for this speedboat.

I spent the day with the baby, who was in his little tanning bed all day and I couldn't really hold him much. He had jaundice and has to spend 2 days in the bed. He is such a cutie..

Seems that while we were gone, there was a huge storm here, on the way home we had to drive through the flooded streets, Yeah, he drove through this...



We got the speedboat in the water yesterday. Still waiting on the stupid interior but it should be here this week.

It went on a little test run tonight, found out that it still has some issues. But they will be fixed soon. The trailer for it is off to get fixed so that it can be loaded and unloaded easily.

So I am figuring that this isn't going to be a cheap boat either. Gas for it was almost 100 bucks, not to mention the things that he had to buy this morning for getting it legal. This doesn't include the interior, paint, and other things he had to get for it....It's always something with him.

But the boat sounds good, it just looks like it sits so low in the water in the back. But that's the way its suppose to be sitting i guess. I actually like it better being white then the red that it was.

Soon we will be out on the water with it.. Probably in a week or so. He will be working on it at nights.

It's All About the Baby

The Family Numbers - 8-1-9

8 -1-9 is quite a interesting number for our family. These numbers come up in everyday life quite frequently. But they won't come up in Lottery Numbers

Births:
8/19 is when we have 4 babies born. 2 of mine and my sisters 2 twins. We would of added one more to this birth date, however Kid #4 or Dannielle was hardheaded and waited a day to miss this special day.


Deaths:
8/19 is the day that my brother died.

8/19 My Great grandmother and her Twin sister died. One died of natural causes, the other who lived many miles away from her committed suicide.

My mom died in March, but the time on the death Certificate was 8:19am. While that may not be the correct time of her death, its the official time on the birth certificate of time of death.


So why am I am explaining this Because Nicole called this morning on her way to the hospital in labor- Time of call? You guessed it 8:19am.

She noticed that she called at that time too... :)

So Today we are waiting for the Baby-wait game. Waiting for Neal to call or Twitter an update.

How Being Unemployed Domesticated Me

Ok, being unemployed sucks. I'm so bored. I can't stand it. I learned how to sew this week. I have made curtains for the boat. It took me more time to figure out how to use the sewing machine than it did me sewing. I made them out of cloth shower curtains. Watched YouTube to learn how to do the pleats and sewed them myself.

I have pricked my finger more times than I can count, but the curtains are done.





























The Dog could of cared less.



She sleeps in the weirdest positions. She is sleeping here so that I have no where to sit... Tom is to the left of her, and I was gonna sit beside him, and she jumped up there to keep me away from him.














Tom is still working on his boat, he put pinstripe on this week. It will go in the water tomorrow. Today he washed the big boat. I was trying to sleep and he's out there walking around the boat rocking it, ruining my nap. He did it on purpose. He knew I was trying to sleep...

Baby still isn't here. The Queen is so ready to have this baby. But he's just not ready to make his appearance. Next week if baby isn't here, she will be back in for a sonogram to see how big he is. So we wait.
