We had spaghetti and meatballs. (second time I had to make spaghetti this week.)
Ok let me explain why I had to make spaghetti twice this week before I rant about the Diva Dog.

When I made spaghetti on Sunday, Tom refused to eat it because I didn't make meatballs, I made meat sauce. I tried to tell him the meat balls were there, just crumbled already, but he didn't buy that. So today, I made it again with meatballs. The first thing he did was crumble the meat ball with his fork over his spaghetti before he eats it. WTF. I think his pain pills, muscle relaxer is going to his head.
Now the dog, thinking something's up, cause she watched the incident - decided that something's wrong.
So we were done eating, I gave her a meatball that I had left on my plate, she drops it on the floor, trots over to Tom and looks at him - all he said was "it's ok, I ate it"... and the little Diva came back and ate it. It's like, Mommy cooked this, is it safe to eat?
The dog is a pain in my ass.
My alarm goes off in the morning, most mornings I sleep through it, well I try to sleep through it, but still usually I get up to shut it off and do a potty run, I come back and the dog has taken over my spot on the bed. I mean she sprawls out on my pillow and all. I play hell getting her out of my bed in the mornings so I can go back to bed. It's not like she doesn't have her own area to snooze in. She has a little Princess Blanket that she sleeps on. Maybe we need to get her pillows.
Last night when I went to the store, they told me that she didn't have her ice cream for the day- again WTF... These people are new at the store, only been there a month, and already knows the dog's routine. I said ok, they said You can pick it up on the way to the backroom of the store. They even know the price of it off by heart. They do look out for the dog, I tried to get her a cheaper breakfast one morning, and was told, "that's not what tom gets her, she won't eat it". So i had to get the more expensive breakfast. Sheesh..
Since Tom has been injured I have been dealing with the dog more. I am noticing that she's really spoiled and a pain.
The thing that topped off everything is when I was walking her and she pooped. She not only did the poopie dance after wards (tom's description) but she scooted her butt across the grass as to wipe her butt. You know it could be worse, I could have to carry toilet paper around just for that purpose.
On other notes:
Today made 1 week since we have been home injured together. So far we haven't tried to kill each other. He's pretty much has been in so much pain that he's been sleeping a lot. And besides I can't talk much. I think it's the perfect combination for us since we're both home together.
