I Think the Dog is Spoiled

Seems that since the weather has changed and its a little cooler in the mornings that Diva Dog don't wanna get up and go to daycare. She would rather stay home with me and snooze in the mornings till about 10ish. Yeah she refused to go with Tom this week cause she don't wanna get cold in the mornings. Which doesn't bother me, she can stay home with me, she naps about as much as I do so we get along fine. We go for our walks, and nap, we clean, then nap, we nap after naps. She is trained for my lifestyle!


But Tom has a problem with her not wanting to go with him in the mornings. Yesterday we got her to go cause she had an appointment with the Groomers, which is another rant all together. I was not happy with the way they Groomed her (more like DIDN'T groom her). I had to trim her today the way that I wanted her. At least they got her teeth brushed and got rid of that bad breath. YAY for them. But they didn't send her home with a little scarf, and didn't cut her tail. I miss her old groomers. Lori and Linda always did a great job, they need to move over here just to groom her.

Usually I can snooze till about 9 - yesterday another boat hit ours. Nothing can get me out of bed faster than a boat hitting our boat. When I called and told him that our boat was hit, he asked for a damage report - well hell as long as my feet wasn't getting wet, everything is good in my book. But there was some damage to the boat. It got scuffed a little, and the anchor got hit. The guy that hit us, knew he hit us so this is left to Tom to deal with it. It wasn't only our boat that got hit, the sail boat beside us got hit also. But it's not the way that you want to wake up in the morning.

Tom got a new cell phone. His old one has just about crashed. Seems the picture of dog disappeared and that was the straw that broke the camels back. It's not that he couldn't see any numbers on his screen- the dog's picture was gone. So we got him a new phone - almost like his other one. This one doesn't have a camera - so I don't have to teach him how to use that feature. His last one had a camera and he never used it once. It's hard to believe that at one time I had to beg him to take the phone with him, now he panics when he doesn't have the phone with him.

Now on to the story of the missing electric heater. It's still missing. In the spring last year, I put it somewhere to get it out of the way. We still can't find it. We have searched everywhere. now it's not like we have a lot of space to hide things, and to store things, but we somehow misplaced this stupid heater. Its getting a bit nippy at night and we can't find it. We do have heat on the boat, but these just add more heat and keeps me comfy. But I will be dammed if I can find this heater. Leave it to me to lose a heater in this castle that he has me in.

Just another day - and its about time for him to come home so it's time to get dinner ready.
