We got Flooding from WIND?

Damnest place I ever seen. Wind caused the flooding. It hasn't rained a drop here all day, it's actually been nice today. But it was really windy which made the water come over the creek (pronounced Creeeeeeek here) in the back and flooded the parking lot. The water is really up, almost to the top of the docks So with the wind comes the problem of me getting off the boat.


As you can see, my little step stool is even hard to get in using that. Tom lifts the dog up to get her in- for me, they sit and "watch the show". Even Shell will have problems when she gets here tonight getting on the boat. She's doesn't have sea legs anyhow. Last time she was here, she fell up the stairs and got a huge bruise. So This ought to be a real challenge for her.

At least we don't have to lift her dog, she has long enough legs to get on the boat herself. Only me and Boodles struggle with this crap.

The interior is finally back for the speedboat. It took 6 months to get it done. Would I recommend them for another job? lol Yeah, not on your life. It wasn't even top quality work, and they are slow as hell. But they weren't cheap. It really sucks.

But we're selling that boat anyhow in the spring - seems that some of us are too old for it. We can't deal with the bruising and roughness of that ride. It's a pretty boat, but it knocks you around quite a bit. I'm thinking replacing it with jet ski's.. They look like a nice smooth ride! lol

Tom went out tonight. He left via the Hatch in his room. Why would a 50 year old man climb out of the hatch and sneak off? If you guessed the dog - Your right. You know this really is sad that he's sneaking out just to get away from the dog.

The Captain is back in the boat. Seems that it's been on sale the last couple of weeks, so its cheaper to feed him this then to send him out to breakfast in the mornings. I hate giving in. And since he knows he won that battle, he crunches even louder. Maybe I should cook him breakfast in the mornings... Yeah right. like that would ever happen.

Shell should be here soon. Her and Stormie - then chaos will begin. Storm loves Tom and won't leave him alone. And Boodles gets jealous, it should be fun.
