You know me and Tom had a bet on who could lose the most inches in a month. I thought for sure that I was gonna win, after all I have been really sick since before Christmas - Judy-coodies as Tom calls them. He gave me his cold- it lasted 4 days for him, 2 weeks for me... But I knew I was gonna win, cause I haven't been eating... I was wrong
Total Inches lost - Tom 5 - Me 4. Now I don't get my feet rubbed for a month like I wanted, and was the bet. I was smart, I didn't make a bet - I only made him bet if he lost. I should of maybe measured him before he pooped. But anyhow I am glad that we are both at least losing weight. I'm not sure about Diva Dog and her weight loss, They have to put her on a scale at Daycare. Today she is home with me she went back to bed after her morning walk. She has been pretty good about going to daycare but once in awhile she wants to stay home and snooze.
Like I said, Tom gave me his cold, finally after 2 weeks I went to the doctors cause I'm just not getting better, sometimes I think I would be better off finding someone like Granny Clampett to give me her fixes...
The doctor said that I was doing everything that I could, but gave me antiboitics anyhow just to help me along. I have no energy, and feel like I wasted money by going to him. Probably a few more days of my home medication I wouldn't of needed prescriptions. Tom got over his quicker than I did.
I have been really medicated. Monday I lost the keys (the ONLY set of keys for the truck).. I finally found them - in a logical place I think - they were in the fridge behind the orange juice. I personally think that Tom put them there, but he says it had to be me. But at least now he won't have to change the ignition in the truck. You would think that we would have more than one key for the truck. The truck hasn't been moved in a couple of weeks...there is a problem with it. When you push in the clutch, it works the breaks at the same time. Perfect for me since I only have 2 feet to work 3 pedals, but we haven't driven it for awhile till he decides to look at it. And since it's gonna get fixed on Tom's schedule, well it could be awhile..After all he's fine driving my blazer daily. I don't go anywhere during the day, if I want to go somewhere he takes me after work.
I slept through the major holidays didn't even get to go to see Baby Devin cause I was so sick. It really sucked.
Tomorrow night Tom goes for his sleep study. I requested that they take and SHOW him the video of him snoring. Since he will tell everyone that he doesn't snore. She said she would show him. She sounds so nice, I hope that he sleeps there and not stay up all night chatting.. Someone told me that they knew someone who's hubby sat up all night and chatted. That could be Tom.
He had all the blood work done and I guess the results were ok, cause they didn't call us back about them. After the sleep study he goes on the 21st of January for the followup doctor visit. So tomorrow night I will be stuck with Doggy Diva. He will be gone from 9pm-6am for this test. The hard part will be keeping him from taking his nap after dinner. You know if you feed him he will go to sleep. After dinner he sleeps till about 8:20pm - when Diva Dog gets him up to go for her ice cream snack before the store closes. She has it all figured out. And she has him well trained.
The problem is going to be, what am I gonna do at nights if he starts sleeping all night. We're so used to getting up in the middle of the night, that I will be lost if he sleeps straight through the night.
It's been cold here -

the marina is frozen, it hasn't melted in a few days, That is a horrible sound of the boat crunching the ice when you move the boat. it's probably only a 1/2 inch thick, but still an eerie sound. Soon I figure we can go ice fishing. It's not suppose to warm up the rest of this week. It's cold enough that even Tom is wearing a coat..Being cold is bad enough but some days we are given winds of 35-50mph. That is when you feel the coldness...
Sunday our water froze, I didn't leave the water drip during the night, it didn't thaw out till about 3 on sunday. At least we had back up water in the tank that we could use. While it's cold outside we are nice and toasty inside. We went and got a propane heater that keeps the place warm. while we don't pay for electric - we don't have enough power to run heaters without throwing the breakers, so we had to get the propane heater. We can go about 5 days on 20 lbs of propane.. (do you measure propane in pounds or gallons? either way it's 20something).. At least we are warm inside.
When we went to get the propane heater we got a doggy sitter - and went to Lowes, they had the heater but not the fittings to hook up the tank, that is when Tom walked out of the store without me while I was reasoning with the people there. They said that usually people hire people to hook them up so they don't carry those parts. All I did was ask "isn't this a do-it-yourself store?" and that is when Tom left me. So we went to Virginia to find a Home Depot. We didn't have much luck cause the bridges were icy up there, so Virgina Opened all the drawbridges and created a huge traffic jam. I guess it saves on Salt cause instead of salting the bridges, they just opened them.
PERFECTLY LOGICAL... sheesh.
