I Am So Slack

Ok, since everyone is bitching at me cause I haven't updated in awhile, I will update you on everything. To be honest - it's not really my fault, tom hasn't really done anything to pick on him about. Let's realize that this is my blog- not his, and I am blaming him - cause I can.

A few weeks ago we went to 2 different weddings back to back. One was at the park and even Diva Dog went - the other one was at the church. Tom couldn't stay awake, and I kept elbowing him at church which he stayed bruised for several days after that. He did manage to hear one thing - and remember it during the ceremony, "wifes obey your husband"... I told him he was dreaming - that wasn't in our ceremony it's been so long ago that who can remember what was said during the service. Then the pastors came and sat at our table with us at the reception. Not just one, we had 3 pastors there with us. They were all pretty cool. We ended up talking about Pittsburgh.

Tom at Arnie and Margot's Wedding in Virgina Beach.

The speedboat is still in the shop. It's been there 2 weeks now - when it comes back to the marina, it's getting sold. Tom is too big to fit in there to fix most of the things - so we gotta keep calling them to come get it and fix it.

On the big boat, the toilet is still giving us problems. Right now I have a toilet that is hot-wired to a battery to flush it. Waiting for a part to arrive from Florida so it can go back to push button flushing... I feel like a redneck - cause you have the toilet and a battery beside it that you have to hit the wires to to flush the toilet. Of course fixing this toilet isn't cheap. We had to send the main control board to them and wait for them to test it and return to us, then troubleshoot from there.. of course this is all done on Tom's schedule... and everyone knows you can't rush him into doing anything..

The toilet has a cat 5 cable running to it, from the control board. It's strange. I'm wondering if I add some RAM to it if it would handle his "big boy dumps". It used to be I would bitch at him to put the toilet seat back down, now it's "put that damn battery back when your done with it, so I don't stub my toes on it again".

he's really upset about me bitching at him.. lol

Next weekend we're heading to Charlotte to look at some Chevelles his buddy has and has to get rid of. We will probably buy at least one of them. So we're back to cars. Hopefully he will paint it red, and not the Harley colors like he did with orange el camino. Although it was cool looking, hugger orange colors isn't my style. Red or black for me. I think cause this was the first one he didn't paint red or black it was strange.

Although he finally got a buyer for the orange one, it took longer cause of the strange colors. I fought him on that color. I told him to paint it red... As everyone can see - I didn't win that battle.

I'm seeing him painting these red like he did the last one.. It was sooo pretty... and sold so fast.

His toys are so expensive.... at least he makes profits on them when he sells them. Maybe he will keep this next one for awhile... and just maybe -- lol (silly me)... he will let me drive it.... yeah right.... never

Nicole got a new car yesterday. The first thing that tom wanted from her was the paint color code so he can get the paint on order. I think he feels that we are all bad drivers in the family. He blames me for this. Says that I taught the girls to drive, and so it all falls back on me. Now the fool knows how I drive, he has to fix all my boo-boos on the cars, he should of taught them himself. Nicole had a hell of a time finding the right car.

Since she won't drive an automatic. She did make the remake that the steering wheel looks like a cute little monkey..... Makes me wonder exactly why she bought this particular model. As Neal says is it sparkles and catches her eye, she buys it.

Neal got a promotion to Manager yesterday. YAY WAY TO GO NEAL. He has worked hard to get where he is in his career. We're all so happy for him.

Devin, will be a year old in a few weeks. Hard to believe that he is almost a year. He's such a cutie. You can see the newest photos on the side that Neal has uploaded. I'm trying to find a little NASCAR pedal car for him, and not having any luck at all.

Michelle is doing good. No major accidents this year for her. I think she's made it 2 years without being in an accident. That's a record for her. She still comes out for her road trips. Actually she only sleeps here, and comes back here for dinner then spends all the time at the beach. Unless it's crab season, then she will stay here crabbing..

It's been a few months since I got a seat belt ticket. I'm doing much better. Actually I admit defeat. I have it rigged in the blazer so that it looks like I'm wearing it, but don't have to wear it. I do wonder where I get my hard- headiness from... But the state police have been pulling over several people a day on the road out here so they are always looking for seat belts. They are nice when they pull you over... At least they have been with me..

Well the real reason I am wearing the seat belt is cause Tom follows to me work most of the way. He will call me and bitch if he sees I don't put it on. So it's just easier to do things his way.. Or at least think I'm doing things my way.

Yesterday I had to take him to work and I ended up late to work. He had left his truck there and I went out for a few drinks after work with the people I worked with, and wasn't going to drive back that night. I was lucky to get back home myself. Tom didn't help me, since I never really drink, it doesn't take much for me to feel tipsy. So he's in here rocking the boat not helping me at all with the room spinning.

Of course dropping Diva Dog off is what put me behind schedule. She has a morning routine that takes time. While she is at Doggy Day Care she won't go to the bathroom, or drink water. So we have to make sure she does it before she goes in, then when she comes back out at 5. Now I'm thinking that the vet may want to consider this a problem - other than she's spoiled....

My throat is better. I haven't had any problems with that. My knee still is causing problems. It still won't bend the whole way, and I still have a limp some times. But I won't go back for more surgery on that at least not in this town. Maybe when I hurt my other knee I will have this one re-looked at... notice i didn't say "if i hurt my other knee" but "when"...

Tom and the neighbors will sit and watch me get off the boat even when the water is up, and won't help me. Said it's free comic show for them... they will both sit on the picnic table and watch me struggle- while I try to get off the boat myself. Usually I don't have a problem, but when the water is high, my little short legs just won't get to the dock without struggling. Now don't get me wrong, getting on the boat tom will help. lol.. I call it a wedgie pull... it's not much help but it helps.

I did have surgery on my eyes. I went from almost totally blind (20/200) to 20/20 in both eyes. I only have to wear glasses to read now. It's totally amazing. Of course when Tom picked me up from surgery, I made him mad, cause the first thing I said was - "damn you look old"... hell up to that point I really couldn't see.. :) The surgery was simple and it wasn't painful at all and the results are fantastic.

Well the last thing that I have to say is : There it's updated!

and Sorry for the delay Bruce!
